Yeager Co. Animal Liberation

Our Story
Welcome to our rescue founded on compassion, shaped by experience, and driven by a deep love for every animal we meet.
Yeager Co. Animal Liberation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue, recognized by the California Attorney General’s Registry of Charitable Trusts and the California Board of Food and Agriculture’s Animal Services Program. This status allows us to receive public and private funding, grants, donations, and in-kind support—resources that we reinvest directly into lifesaving work. It also enables us to collaborate with local shelters, law enforcement, and welfare agencies to identify at-risk animals, transport them to safety, and secure urgent veterinary care.
Our core mission is to save and rehome rabbits, cats, hamsters, rats, and more, providing compassionate care through both foster networks and permanent adoptions. Your support helps us maintain stable, enriched environments and deliver urgent medical treatment to animals in need.
My love for animals began early, and by my teenage years, I was already involved in rescuing and caring for them starting with a small group of rabbits who taught me the value of empathy, consistency, and respect for every individual life. Those early experiences shaped not only my commitment to animal welfare, but also the foundation of Animal Liberation Rescue. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Zoology to deepen my understanding of the animals I care for. Alongside me in this mission is my partner, who brings years of hands-on experience with both equines and exotic pets. Together, we combine education and lived experience to advocate for animals who are too often overlooked.
At the heart of everything we do is a belief that every life matters, and that meaningful change starts with the quiet, everyday work of showing up, speaking out, and creating safe spaces for those without a voice.
We’ve grown through trial, trust, and the animals who’ve let us into their lives. Every rescue is personal, and every life has a story. Our goal is to make sure those stories don’t end in silence. We’re here to listen, to care, and to fight for better outcomes. We maintain a large outdoor enclosure where our rescues can feel safe and stretch out, but we’re often at full capacity. The situation in Riverside County has become especially difficult, with more animals than ever showing up abandoned or left to roam the streets. Despite our space and efforts, the need keeps growing and we do everything we can to meet it, one life, one rescue at a time.
